A plain account of the details this site collects, who sees them, and how to have them changed or removed.
Who is asking
The Angel Venture Fair & Expo is presented by The Cottrell Entrepreneurship Center, West Chester University and Inuksuk Ventures. This site is run for them, and “we” on this page means them. For anything here, write to contactus@inuksukventures.com.
What you give us
When you ask for the brochure, the form asks for your first and last name, job title, company and business email, a phone number if you care to give one, and whether you are thinking of investing, presenting or sponsoring. We use them to send you news of the fair.
When you inquire about sponsoring, the form asks for your name, company and email, and takes a phone number, a sponsorship level and a message if you offer them. We use them to reply to you.
With either form we also keep the internet address it was sent from and the kind of browser used, to tell real requests from automated ones.
When you write to us by email, we keep the message so that we can answer it.
What other services ask for
Investor tickets are sold by Eventbrite. What you enter there is held by Eventbrite under its own privacy policy (opens in a new tab), and passed to us to run the evening. Your name, firm and email go on the attendee list given to the evening’s Platinum sponsor after the event; write to us and we will leave you off it.
Company applications are taken by Tally. The form on the Founders page is Tally’s: your answers go to the organisers’ Tally account, under Tally’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab), and are read by the fair’s selection committee.
What the site notes for itself
No advertising or tracking service runs on this site, and it sets no cookies. Each page reports two things back to us: anything that broke in your browser, and how quickly the page loaded. With them come the address of the page and the kind of device and browser. Not your name, not your internet address, and nothing you typed into a form.
As with any website, the company that hosts this one, Cloudflare, handles your internet address in order to deliver the pages.
Who sees it
The fair’s hosts, and the people who work on the fair for them. The services that carry it: Cloudflare, which hosts this site and its records; Resend, which delivers each request to the hosts’ inbox; and Tally and Eventbrite, for the forms that are theirs. The evening’s Platinum sponsor receives the attendee list described above. We do not pass your details to anyone else.
Your say
Ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop writing to you: contactus@inuksukventures.com. We keep requests and inquiries for as long as they are of use in running the fair, and remove them when you ask.
